If to look around, you can notice a lot of people playing soccer, volleyball, basketball and any others. These games usually require teams with a big number of competitors. Such activity as fishing sometimes requires huge physical strength. If to talk about the recreation, it is different form of activity that makes somebody relaxed and brings much joy. After that there can be a conclusion that fishing can be considered either a sport or a recreation.
Besides, there are a lot of arguments about the definition of the sport and game. Nobody can say precisely whether darts is a game or a sport. Of course, who is participating in darts as a professional considers it to be a serious sport but the others will think the different way. In most of the cases the recreation is considered to be relaxing. The sport in its turn also some type of the recreation that involves some kind of the competition.
If to answer the question what sport and recreation are, they are first of all activities that are done during the free time, bring a lot of fun and can be enjoyed by the individuals. However, there are a lot of sport competitions. They can be local or international. If the sport is professional, it requires a lot of efforts and physical trainings but at the same time it is a way to earn good money. Besides, recreation is always a relaxing time that brings much joy. The main aim for the sportsmen is to win. Recreation does not really demand so many physical activities while sports require often training and improving of the physical state.
However, there are some activities that can be considered either sport or recreation depending on the individual. If the participant of the activity performs it professionally and participates in different competitions, then there is no doubt that it can be considered a sport.
