Tommy T asked:
I mean, there was a game last week of the Texans/Packers in 6degree weather. How far will the NFL go to play the game. Is there a certain degree when they will postpone a game to protect their players and fans? I know its tradition, but what if it hits 10degress below?

I do not know. I do not think they would cancel a game if it was -10. I think the Ice Bowl was pretty cold.

Who cares? We’re taught from a very young age that the team is more important than us. Coming from a high school player in the northeast, suck it up. Honestly. We play in the snow and freezing cold WITHOUT sideline heaters. They’re freaking pansies if they complain about the cold.

They will never shut down a Lambeau Field game. It would have to get below -50 degrees and they’d probably still send them out on the field. I was at a Lions/Packer game years ago that was -22 below wind chill. There have been even colder ones.

Those shoulder pads keep you warm. players also get a lot of running and hitting done, so their mind is not on the cold.
